Summary

After that, she’s done. They’re over. She wouldn’t be his vampire.

Review
This is my favorite book of the Not This series thus far, probably because it deviates from the damsel in distress lady shifter who can't shift being saved by the big bad alpha plot of the first two books, and instead in a lot of ways Trixie saves Victor too in this one. I also loved finally getting to know more about Victor after the few teasing glimpses of him we got of him in the first two books in the series. I also loved getting to catch up with characters from the earlier books in the series, as well as meeting some new ones (I was wondering where the gargoyle from the title of the 4th books in the series was going to come in... Ta da, here he is!) 

This is another great book full of sexy banter, intrigue, and witty repartee. I would read way more paranormal romance novels if they all managed such an amazing blend of sex and snark the way Annie Nicholas does. 

This is the third book in the Not This series, and while technically it could probably be read as a stand alone, the series really should be read in order or you're going to be a little lost. There's a fair amount of plot set up for this book in the previous books, and you are definitely going to spoil all the major plot points/mysteries in the earlier books by reading this one first. Just say no, read those books first!
