Review

I adored The Fixer. Jenny is such a strong women while at the same time so vulnerable, and I love how bright and determined she is. And then Matthew is so focused on his goals to the detriment of every other aspect of his life, and they're good for each other. I fell in love with both of them over the course of this book just as surely as they fall for each other. I also really enjoyed the parallels to the song Jenny/867-5309, and may have been singing it in my head the entire time reading this book.

This is an excellent New Adult romance with themes of self discovery, learning to stand on your own and learning to rely on others, following your passions even when that's a really hard thing to do, changing relationships, and some darker themes around predatory people and the dangerous situations in which people can find themselves in. This is a fairly short story, more of a novella, but I loved every second of it and am ravenous for the next book in the series.
